The Clean and Today Guild is a new project made in December 2025. Started by a family group, Tony (that's me), and two sons, Maverick and Tobias. We have picked litter up in a few areas of Worksop in Nottinghamshire, over the past couple of years. Now we're taking a step further with more dedicated time to clean the streets that shouldn't be dirty anyway.
I started this with my kids to teach them the importance of not littering. Since doing this, we have had a lot of kind praise from people we've passed in the street, and even been given treats. The first day of The Clean & Tidy Guild, a nice lady gave us a whole tub of Heroes chocolates. That was really kind and I appreciate people making my kids feel good about litter picking because it isn't the easiest thing to be doing to be honest.
We are looking for donations to buy new equipment, and the most important thing, binbags. It would be great if we can actually build a community as well to keep the streets cleaner and make our town, and Great Britain, a tidier and nicer place to live.
